• Regular, Associate Rate: $285.00
• Student, Retiree Rate: $175.00

General Registration (Rates beginning July 16th)
• Regular, Associate Rate: $335.00
• Student, Retiree Rate: $200.00

2024 Pre-Conference Workshops
AEJMC offers additional sessions that may require pre-registration and/or a fee in addition to the conference registration fee. You can view these sessions below. All of these sessions are optional. (Update 04.15.24)

Registration & AEJMC Membership
* You must be a member of AEJMC to attend our conference. Conference registration does not include membership, but membership can be purchased at time of registration if you are not a current member. Membership shall be by individuals and by educational or professional journalism and mass communication organizations. Eligible individuals and organizations are those concerned principally with teaching, research or public service in journalism or mass communication and those concerned principally with practicing in the various fields of journalism and mass communication.
When registering for the conference, if your Membership Option does not show (ie, AEJMC Conference Member Rate, or AEJMC Conference Member Student Rate) please contact Saviela Thorne, AEJMC Membership Coordinator at to make sure your AEJMC membership is current.
How can I add workshops, luncheons or tours to my registration if I have already registered?
Follow these instructions to add items to your registration:

>>Click on More under Conference
>>Click on Visit Conference Website
>>Click on More under Registration
>>Click on Register Now
>>Click View Event Registration Details
>>Click on the down arrow to right of the 2024 Conference Line
>>Scroll down to the bottom of page
>>Click Change Sessions
>>Navigate through the adding sessions portion
>>Pay for any additional sessions
Onsite Registration
There will be onsite registration (you may also use your personal device to register online), however we encourage all conference registrants to register in advance to ensure a smooth check-in process.
Group Registrations
Are you registering multiple staff members for the conference? Please contact Saviela Thorne for instructions, and use this conference registration form.

The AEJMC registration/information desk will be located on Level 4 Franklin Hall Foyer
Registration Hours
  • Tuesday, August 6th, from 5:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m.
  • Wednesday, August 7th, from 7:45 a.m. to 7:00 p.m.
  • Thursday, August 8th, from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Friday, August 9th, from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Saturday, August 10th, from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
  • Sunday, August 11th, from 7:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.
Refund Policy
  • Conference registration fees are ONLY available for refunds. Membership fees, workshops, luncheons, and tours are non-refundable.
  • Written cancellation requests reaching the Central Office
    • Before July 16, 2024, are eligible for a FULL REFUND minus $75 service fee. 
    • Between July 16, 2024, through July 31, 2024, are eligible for a FULL REFUND minus $100 service fee.
    • Between August 1, 2024, through August 31, 2024, ONLY AVAILABLE FOR A SUDDEN ILLNESS OR DEATH, are eligible for a FULL REFUND minus $100 service fee. 
    • After August 31, 2024, NO REFUNDS AVAILABLE FOR ANY REASON.
