Registration opens April 22. Conference attendees must be AEJMC members.

Early Registration (April 22 through July 15)

Conference registration DOES NOT include AEJMC membership.
• Regular, Associate Rate: $285.00
• Student, Retiree Rate: $175.00

General Registration (Begins July 16)

Conference registration DOES NOT include AEJMC membership.
• Regular, Associate Rate: $335.00
• Student, Retiree Rate: $200.00

Registration & AEJMC Membership
* You must be a member of AEJMC to attend our conference. Conference registration does not include membership, but membership can be purchased at time of registration if you are not a current member. Membership shall be by individuals and by educational or professional journalism and mass communication organizations. Eligible individuals and organizations are those concerned principally with teaching, research or public service in journalism or mass communication and those concerned principally with practicing in the various fields of journalism and mass communication.
 
When registering for the conference, if your Membership Option does not show (ie, AEJMC Conference Member Rate, or AEJMC Conference Member Student Rate) please contact Saviela Thorne, AEJMC Membership Coordinator at Saviela@aejmc.org to make sure your AEJMC membership is current.
 
How can I add workshops, luncheons or tours to my registration if I have already registered?

Onsite Registration
Onsite registration is available at the AEJMC conference registration desk located on the Yerba Buena Grand Assembly Foyer, Lower B2 Level, at the San Francisco Marriott Marquis. You may also register online anytime before or during the conference by using your personal device. We encourage all conference attendees to register in advance to ensure a smooth check-in process.

Friday, August 8th, from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Saturday, August 9th, from 7:45 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Sunday, August 10th, from 7:45 a.m. to 12:00 p.m.


2025 AEJMC/WJEC Attendance (VISA) Letter Request
Please complete this form to request a letter of attendance to the 2025 AEJMC/WJEC Annual Conference. Please complete by June 2, 2025.


Refund Policy

  • Conference registration fees are ONLY available for refunds. Membership fees, workshops, luncheons, and tours are non-refundable. Contact Saviela Thorne at saviela@aejmc.org with refund requests.
  • Written cancellation requests reaching the Central Office
    • Before July 16, 2025, are eligible for a FULL REFUND minus $75 service fee. 
    • Between July 16, 2025, through July 31, 2025, are eligible for a FULL REFUND minus $100 service fee.
    • Between August 1, 2025, through August 31, 2025, ONLY AVAILABLE FOR A SUDDEN ILLNESS OR DEATH, are eligible for a FULL REFUND minus $100 service fee. 
    • After August 31, 2025, NO REFUNDS AVAILABLE FOR ANY REASON.
