About the Membership Committee
Purpose:
The Membership Committee supports AEJMC’s mission by maintaining and strengthening membership engagement and by advising on dues and classification structures that sustain the organization’s financial and professional health.
Role of Committee Members:
The AEJMC Membership Committee is responsible for supporting the association’s efforts to maintain and strengthen its membership base across all classifications. Committee members assist in reviewing membership trends, recommending strategies for growth and engagement, and supporting the implementation of policies related to dues and membership structure as established by the Board. Members are also encouraged to promote the value of AEJMC membership within their divisions, interest groups, and broader academic and professional networks. Membership dues are set by the Board of Directors, subject to approval by the full membership.
