Tenure-track Assistant Professor
Position Summary:
The School of Media & Journalism at Arkansas State University is looking for a tenure-track Assistant Professor.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Teach undergraduate and graduate courses, including those in the online program, provide graduate mentoring and thesis supervision, mentoring of undergraduate students for scholarly endeavors such as participation in the Create@State, undergraduate research forum and to support enrollment demands across multiple degree programs.
- Maintain the school's capacity for scholarship, curriculum development, accreditation activities, and student mentoring.
- Fulfill departmental, college, and university service responsibilities requiring tenure-track faculty participation.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:
Knowledge and ability to teach communication across platforms and produce research and/or creative activities appropriate to the discipline.
General Days/Hours:
Monday - Friday
8:00 a.m. - 5:00 p.m.
Additional hours as requested and/or needed
Regular and reliable attendance
