Shannon Zenner is an assistant professor in the communication design program at Elon University. She has a background in advertising and has worked with clients from banks and boots to ice cream and tanning. Her research is currently focused on the intersection of visual communication and political identity and looks more specifically at the ways that visual aesthetics impact advertising persuasiveness when matched to visual taste.
